It Started in Miami
Back in February 2019, the TradeWinds team dropped anchor at the Miami International Boat Show, one of the biggest in the US, to exhibit one of our beautiful new yachts. Throughout the boat show, we welcomed many visitors to our booth. One couple, Rob and IV, came to see us, and we discussed their dreams of yacht ownership and our exclusive Yacht OwnerShip Program. As with many prospective yacht owners, Rob and IV had worked hard all their life, built up a successful agricultural supply business, and brought up a family. And now they wanted to fulfill their dream of sailing the turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean on their own yacht. By mid-afternoon of the following day, Rob and IV were the proud owners of their very own beautiful new TradeWinds 60 luxury yacht!
One of the best things about ownership is that you get to choose the name of your own yacht, and it’s always fun to see what name a new owner comes up with. Once we ordered the yacht, we had to register her, and so Rob and IV decided on the imaginative name of “Sea’d Money” in honor of their family business.
After a few months of waiting to take delivery of their new yacht, Rob and IV finally set sail for the first time on February 22, 2020. They decided on St. Martin as the Caribbean base for their yacht and invited friends and family along for an incredible two-week cruise. Their verdict? They loved their new yacht, the sail, and of course, the experience!
